Workshops & TrainingsIgniteIgnite (IEDP clinic) is a seven-week series of special clinics to assist aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners in getting their ventures off the ground.
This seven week clinic will cover:
Training sessions take place one day a week on Thursday from 9am-11am for six weeks at the Arab American National Museum located at 13624 Michigan Ave. in Dearborn. Business coaching is optional and available immediately following the training from 11am-12:30pm. Space is limited. Business CoachingOur business coaches schedule one-on-one consultations with the Entrepreneur. The initial meeting will allow the business coach to determine how exactly the Growth Center can assist each Entrepreneur and meet their specific needs. From there they will be able to help the client either determine or fine tune their business plans.

ProgramsiedpACCESS Growth Center’s IEDProgram strives to maximize the capacity of immigrants and those in the various communities living in the surrounding areas, to start and grow businesses. While immigrant entrepreneurs have demonstrated a unique acumen for enterprise, a number of obstacles hamper their success. Through this program, entrepreneurs utilize a wealth of resources to transcend difficulties whether they be language barriers, lack of capital or credit history, cultural disorientation and discrimination.
hOME-bASED cHILD cARE pROGRAM (hbcc) The HBCC Program provides refugee women with the skills and tools needed to establish their own home-based childcare enterprises. Refugees receive an individual assessment to determine their needs. Qualified participants receive intensive case management, training, business coaching, mentoring and other services. This program's goal is to empower refugee women, improve the financial circumstances of refugee families and create quality childcare options for other refugee community members.
